Pic of the Week [LOVE and a Contest!]

Happy Valentine’s Day!  In honor of this special day dedicated to love, I am hosting a contest for a free print of this week’s Pic of the Week!  You heard correctly!  You can win “I love you” in a Hundred Languages for your special someone, or, let’s be honest, yourself.  No judgement, it’s that awesome.  See complete rules at the bottom of the post.

This is a shot from Montmartre, which is in the18th arrondissement of Paris. When my best friend and I were there in 2005, we happened into a photo shop to get more camera cards (32gb cards were not a "thing" at this time... we're talking 256 mb was a BIG deal). The camera shop guy was super friendly, although he was about as great at speaking English as we were at speaking French. But, he very excitedly told us about this wall across the street that was a stone's throw away that says "I love you" in hundreds of languages, and somehow we were able to understand! So... that's where this shot is from. :)
Win Me!

To enter the contest all you have to do is:

  1. Like Stellar Propeller Studio on facebook (if you’re already a fan, then you’re already half way to entering!)
  2. Answer this question in the comments:

What is your favorite love song?

A winner will be selected on the basis of liking this post on facebook, and the song I think best represents love.  The contest ends on Sunday, February 16th at midnight MST, so hurry and get that love song down.  A winner will be announced Monday, and the winner will get their choice of a 5×7 or 8×10 print.  I will contact you requesting your mailing address to send your Valentine print!  (See official contest rules at the bottom.)

And here it is. . . The Pic of the Week

Valentine Contest Win a Free Print from Stellar Propeller Studio

This is a shot from Montmartre, which is in the18th arrondissement of Paris. When my best friend and I were there in 2005, we stopped by a photo shop to get more camera cards (32gb cards were not a “thing” at this time… we’re talking 256 mb was a BIG deal). The camera shop guy was super friendly, although he was about as great at speaking English as we were at speaking French. But, he very excitedly told us about this wall across the street that was a stone’s throw away that says “I love you” in hundreds of languages, and somehow we were able to understand! We made our way over and I paused to snap this shot-I love you in a Hundred Languages. Reminds me there is no shortage of love.
