I am not a landscape photographer. Except in Iceland.

Magical. Mind-blowing. Like another planet. I think Jenny put it best. She turned to me in the car on day 2 or 3 and said, “This place is other worldly.” And I’ll second that. If you’re thinking about going, please go. If you’re not thinking about going, maybe start 馃檪

I’ll have more pics up in the future about specific places and adventures, but I wanted to get the ball rolling and share a few of the views.

Anglican church in downtown Reykjavik. One of the most unique old churches I’ve come across.

the hike on the way to the “lost pool”

Selljavallalaug, the first swimming pool in Iceland. Fed by hot springs and definitely off the beaten path. Don’t come here if you mind changing in front of strangers 馃檪

camping in Skaftafell. Nice way to save a little cash money and make some memories.

This is sincerely just off the side of the road. Unreal.

black beach near Dyrh贸laey.

I kept thinking about how funny it would be to be sitting in your tent at night and see a random girl running through your campsite flailing about with Christmas lights…
